PushEngage allows you to group custom segments, geo-locations, and people who have interacted with your push campaigns to create audience groups. These groups combine the criteria of various segments and allow you to target them with notifications, saving time by eliminating the need to send to multiple segments or selections. This can help you send more targeted messages and improve your click-through rate (CTR). You can find the Audience Group option in the Audience tab of the Push Broadcasts/Drip Autoresponder feature.
To create an audience group in WordPress, follow these steps:
- Log in to your PushEngage account and navigate to Audience > Audience Group.
- Click on Create New Audience Group and enter the group’s name and optional description. This can help you and your team understand the group’s purpose without needing to edit and view it.
- Use the View button to see the number of subscribers in the group.
- Select the criteria for the group, including attributes, segments, browsers, devices, countries, states, cities, subscription dates, last click, sent, view date, total sent, view, click count, profile ID, and subscriber hash. You can also choose to remove inactive subscribers.
This will allow you to create a targeted group of subscribers to receive notifications.
Before creating an audience group, you must ensure that you have already made any custom segments, attributes, and subscriber hash that you want to include in the group. This feature also allows you to retarget users who have not clicked on your notifications in the last few days. To do this, you can create a specific audience group and set criteria, such as the Last Click Date being greater than 60 days. By sending targeted notifications to your least active subscribers, you can increase engagement and encourage them to interact with your content.
After creating an audience group, you can send a Push Broadcast to a specific group of subscribers rather than your entire subscriber base. To do this, select the desired audience group when creating the Push Broadcast or Drip Autoresponder. You can track the campaign’s performance by visiting the respective.
