Before You Start
This guide assumes you have the WhatsApp Business App created with Meta and you have generated the tokens that are required. If you don’t already have a Meta business account set up, you can create one and generate the necessary tokens by following this guide.
Enabling Automation Campaigns
Once you have done the setup and connected your WhatsApp Business Account. You can navigate to Installed Plugins.
Go on PushEngage and click on WhatsApp
You can switch to Automation Tab here.
In this Automation Tab, you will see various workflows in place which will have templates listed and triggers enabled already.
Based on your use case you can choose the Automation workflows you have to enable on your website.
All these campaigns are helpful if you have an Ecommerce Store. You can enable or edit these campaigns.
For example, we are editing the New Order Placing Campaign. Every time a user places a campaign this would go out.
You can send out campaigns to the customer or Admin and choose which phone number is to be used.
There are a variety of approved templates within your Meta account that can be chosen to send out to your customers.
List of Automation Workflows Available
These campaigns are available for both Customer & Admin of your store.
New Order – Get notified instantly when a new order is placed on your store.
Order Processing – Stay updated when an order moves to the processing stage.
Order On Hold – Receive an alert when an order is placed On Hold.
Order Completed – Get a notification when an order is successfully completed.
Order Cancelled – Be informed when an order is cancelled by the customer or admin.
Order Failed – Track failed orders with real-time notifications.
Order Refunded – Know immediately when a refund is issued for an order.
Cart Abandonment – Recover lost sales by reminding customers of items left in their cart.
That’s it, you have enabled the Automation campaigns for your WhatsApp Messaging.
